About this event
🗣️ Arabic Debate Competition
The Curtin Arabic Language Club is excited to host an Arabic Debate Competition designed to encourage confidence, public speaking, critical thinking, and language fluency in an engaging and supportive environment.
Participants will debate a range of topics in Arabic, allowing members to practise expressing ideas clearly, responding spontaneously, and improving their communication skills in front of an audience 🎤
The event welcomes different language levels, with a focus on participation, learning, and respectful discussion rather than formal expertise 🌍
✨ The competition aims to:
- Strengthen Arabic speaking and argumentation skills 🧠
- Encourage confidence in public speaking 🎙️
- Promote structured discussion and respectful dialogue 🤝
- Create an interactive and intellectually engaging environment for members 📚
This event will help members experience Arabic beyond basic learning by actively using the language in conversation, persuasion, and discussion 💬
