Club Objectives

The objects of the Society are:

(a) To become and remain registered with the Guild.

(b) To further the interests of enrolled students.

(c) To assist new students with orientation to the University.

(d) To encourage and promote cooperation between the Society and other Student societies.

(e) To do all things that are necessary and proper for the benefit and advancement of the Society and the Guild.

(f) The club aims to improve the Curtin students community's knowledge of the Arabic language and its cultural heritage, whether they are Arabic speakers or not. The primary objectives are:

  • Help students learn Arabic through workshops, peer learning, and mentorship for all skill levels.
  • Enhance cultural awareness by hosting events and activities that showcase the richness and diversity of Arabic dialects.
  • Support academic and personal development by connecting members with resources, guest speakers, and opportunities to practice advanced language skills such as literary analysis, calligraphy, and public speaking.
  • Build a pleasant community that welcomes students of all backgrounds, where they can connect and learn from each other.
